Specialized meeting of Iran’s investment opportunities with neighboring countries with an export and knowledge-based approach

Iran Household Appliance Industries Association held the mentioned seminar in the presence of the interested and participants of the exhibition on Wednesday 30/09/1401 in the Pearl Hall of Tehran International Exhibitions Company.

This conference was held with the presence of the Secretary of the Iran Home Appliance Industries Association, the head of Al-Diwaniyah Chamber of Commerce of Iraq, the international affairs advisor of the Trade Development Organization and the negotiator of the Iran-Eurasia agreement, the economic attaché of Armenia in Iran and the head of the export and media commissions of the Iran Home Appliance Industries Association. .

At the beginning of this meeting, Dr. Mirhadi Sidi, the international affairs consultant of the Trade Development Organization, said about the negotiations with Eurasia: Eurasia includes countries such as Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Belarus, which have 180 million people and nearly 300 billion dollars in annual imports.

According to the negotiator of the free trade agreement with Eurasia, this large market has high potential and relies on certain items and special geographical conditions, and upon reaching the first free trade agreement with 5 united countries, we must show our determination to prosper in trade with this market. and establish export and import.

In the continuation of this meeting, Mahmoud Esteghlal, Secretary of the Association’s Export Commission, stated that China, India, Turkey, Mexico, Saudi Arabia and Egypt have good growth in the production of household appliances, and said: We have grown by 3.7% in the market of kitchen appliances and it is expected reach 800 billion dollars, and most of the production of household appliances takes place in the Asian continent.

Esteghlal continued: One of the ways to increase production in global markets is through e-commerce, and this is becoming more and more important year by year.

In the continuation of this meeting, the secretary of the Iran Home Appliance Industry Association and the economic representative of Armenia in Iran exchanged views on the trade agreement between Iran and Armenia, and at the end of the meeting, a cooperation memorandum was signed between the Iran Home Appliance Industry Association and the head of Al-Diwaniye Chamber of Commerce of Iraq.

Despite all the plans of the Iranian Home Appliance Industry Association to hold the conference due to the conditions caused by coronary heart disease and the application of restrictions by the National Anti-Corona Headquarters, the conference on the impact of the exhibition on localization of the country’s home appliance industry was canceled.
